Lighthouse Point, Florida

Zahn Development’s new green home is located in Lighthouse Point, Florida. The city, Incorporated in 1956, is a unique oasis in the vibrant South Florida community. Nestled between  Boca Raton and bustling downtown Fort Lauderdale, Lighthouse Point borders the communities of Pompano Beach and Deerfield Beach. Both Miami and Palm Beach are a short drive on nearby I-95.

Families of all sizes and ages flock to this quaint town of about 11,000 people for its interconnecting 18 miles of canals and waterways that lead to the Atlantic Ocean, active youth sports program, and special culture. Lighthouse Point boasts its own municipal police force, public library and governmental body. Residents also enjoy the Lighthouse Point Tennis Center and Dan Witt Park as well as about 20 acres of natural environment and mini-parks. Outdoor activities are a favorite past time on the more than 13 miles of sidewalks and bike paths throughout the community.

Most Saturday mornings, residents can find the mayor hanging out at the local diner or feeding tarpon at the Marina. Few strangers exist in this friendly neighborhood where residents take pride in their community. It’s not uncommon to find three generations of Lighthouse Point residents. Federal Highway, which borders the west side of the community, features a full complement of retail stores, restaurants, and other business establishments.

From the home’s 90 foot dock sail only six minutes to the Hillsboro Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean.
